Who publishes Signal & Sensor News

Signal & Sensor News is an independent publication covering the telematics and IoT industry and the fleets it serves.

How the directory works

The directory lists companies in the industry we cover. Listings are free, and any company can ask to be added or corrected by emailing hello@signalandsensor.com.

Profiles are first written by AI from the company’s own website. An editor then reads each profile against its source. Every profile says which stage it is at: “Not yet checked by an editor” or “Checked by Signal & Sensor on” a date, with the source. Each profile has a Report an error link.

No company pays to be included or to rank higher. If we offer paid options in future, they will be labelled “Sponsored” or “Featured”, and their links will be marked as sponsored for search engines. Payment will never change what we write about a company or the order of the regular listings.

What we count

We count how many visits we send to each company’s website, and which directory searches find nothing, so we know what to add. We store only the company, where on our site the click came from, the time, and the search words. We don’t store who you are, your IP address or your browser.

The directory badge

Listed companies can add a “Listed in the Signal & Sensor directory” badge to their website. It links to their profile. Using it is optional and doesn’t affect the listing.

How we use AI

We use AI to help find and draft news stories and to write first drafts of directory profiles. Stories published automatically go through an AI fact-check against their sources first, and editors review and correct what we publish. When we get something wrong, we fix it.
